The Spring Election is April 6th
|
Make sure you are prepared to vote. See if your voter registration is current, check the status of your absentee ballot, or find your polling place all at MyVote.wi.gov.

We’ll help you get prepared to vote, or to support other voters. This is an important election - voters will select the State Superintendent of Public Instruction, Court of Appeals Judge, and Circuit Court Judges as well as important local offices such as city officials, school board, alderpersons and more. Registration is required. Register here.

For the April 2021 election, the DVC is again offering the “Find a Ride to the Polls” resource on our website, listing transportation options around the state. Plan ahead – some require advance notice. If you have a transportation resource to add, email us at info@disabilityvote.org. Thanks to the ADRCs, counties, providers, and volunteers who are providing transportation!

Be sure to complete and return your absentee ballot AS SOON AS POSSIBLE! Your completed absentee ballot must arrive no later than 8 PM on election day to be counted. You can deliver your ballot to your clerk. Some communities have special drop boxes. Check with your clerk to find out where to return your ballot: https://myvote.wi.gov/en-us/MyMunicipalClerk

State Superintendent of Public Instruction Resources

On March 4th, the Wisconsin Disability Vote Coalition hosted a State Superintendent of Public Instruction candidate forum. The forum was an opportunity to hear from candidates Deborah Kerr and Jill Underly about how they would address the needs of students with disabilities, including mental health needs. The Candidate Forum video is now available and includes captioning and an ASL interpreter.
