July 26th marks the 30th anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). The ADA is among the federal laws that advanced voting rights for voters with disabilities.

The Disability Vote Coalition is Partnering with All Voting Is Local to host a July 27 panel Celebrating the 30th Anniversary of the ADA and Its Impact on Voting Rights.

Join DRW Thursday July 23rd at 11 AM to celebrate the ADA 30th and watch a new video featuring Wisconsinites with disabilities, DRW staff, Governor Evers, and other disability advocates speaking about the impact of the ADA. The Video features the iconic photos of Tom Olin, documentarian of the disability rights movement.

Celebrate the ADA by Voting!

Disability Advocate Justin Dart is known as the Father of the ADA. Justin said: “Vote as if your life depends on it. The August 11th election is just around the corner – honor the ADA and Vote!

If you are not registered to vote, you can register at your polling place on election day or with your Municipal Clerk.
