1. Hello,
This is in response to your letter and questionnaire.

Universal health care; Fair Taxes:  Close loopholes for big business, expect more from the wealthiest, ease burden on lower and middle income; Promote energy independence, renewable energy, etc.

2. Parity for mental health care, and make it part of a universal health care plan.

3. Universal health care will eliminate the disparity between the non-disabled unemployed and the disabled unemployed.  Payments and\or other services should then be made sufficient to allow for meaningful lives.

4. I’m new to this stuff, I would have to turn to the advice of experienced legislators, other Democrats first, to find the help possible.

5. I believe so, but do not know much about this program or others.  I think dollars are best spent helping people live independently whenever possible.

6. Again, look for advice with more experienced legislators.  Work with the schools to try to provide alternative extracurricular options and\or transportation.

7. I would certainly listen to the concerns of the disabled community and work to eliminate the barriers to meeting their needs, I have no specifics at this time.
